Well, I never thought after all these years at faire I could be suprised and moved as much as I was at this years Pembrook faire. I have been a part of a guild for ssssoooooooooo many years and have tried to be the one behinds the scenes that no one knows about that makes everything run smoothly and the way it should. Well to my suprise my Guilde decided to have me knighted or rather Damed at this event. I enjoy this event because I play a low ranked Baroness,which makes my job as a director so much easier as I am not in the spot light unless I need or want to be.

I had decided to have a gentleman that joined us play a French Ambassador and do a period bit by presenting Her Majesty Elizabeth with a Dildo. Yes this person actually gave Elizabeth the first sex toy...She didn't know what to do with it so she knighted several people with it!!! (Well no good deed goes unpunished!!!! ) As we finished morning progress and the gentleman decided to dress and become the "Other " Queen, So... I ran for the "Item" and when I was in the midst of retrieving it I was hunted down by My asst.GM who is also the head of the Security team at this event. He grabbed my hand and as we quickly walked back towards Court he informed me that I was being called for by the Queen!

Upon my arrival at court... Everyone still standing where I had left them in a large crowd around the glade.... Open up people!!!! It was announced that there would be a knighting and low and behold I was the victim... Uh I mean honoree! So I was knighted by not one but two of my favorite Queens and with a Wooden dildo no less!! Leave it to me. Well I am now a Dame in the order of St. John!

I have learned to walk in Spurs, I was given my first sword lesson and Now I get to carry a sword...God help us all, I am now armed!!!

What to say...
I have been attending faire for over 20 years and have raise two wonderful children in this great community and am trying to raise my grandson the same way. I have played peasant to queen and everything in between.
